Alyssa & Chris’s Romantic Rochester Wedding at The Arbor Loft & Arbor Midtown
There’s something so special about a wedding day that feels effortlessly them, intentional details, a beautiful setting, and plenty of moments spent surrounded by the people they love most. Alyssa & Chris’s wedding day was exactly that.
Planned by XO, Erika, their celebration brought together 175 guests for a beautiful Rochester wedding that moved from the George Eastman Museum to The Arbor Loft and, finally, Arbor Midtown. From the romantic first look to a candlelit plated dinner and a packed dance floor, every part of the day felt elevated, personal, and full of heart.
A Picture-Perfect First Look
The day began with Alyssa & Chris’s first look at the George Eastman Museum, one of Rochester’s most iconic backdrops. Surrounded by the museum’s historic architecture and gardens, the two shared a quiet moment together before the celebration officially began.
With Reilley Photography capturing their ceremony and portraits, these first moments of the day were filled with the kind of timeless imagery that makes you want to relive them again and again.
A Romantic Ceremony at The Arbor Loft
From the museum, the celebration continued at The Arbor Loft for an intimate and romantic ceremony.
The space was transformed with beautiful florals by Poppysea Floristry, creating an organic, elegant setting for Alyssa & Chris to say “I do.” The Delmonico String Quartet provided the soundtrack, adding an especially romantic touch as guests gathered and the ceremony began.
And because no wedding morning is complete without coffee, guests were treated to Localist Coffee, the perfect little detail to welcome everyone into the day.
Thoughtful Details Around Every Corner
One of the things that made Alyssa & Chris’s wedding so memorable was how seamlessly all of the details came together.
Sincerely Melissa brought the paper and design details to life with custom menus, signage, and decor rentals, while Tesoro Rentals provided ghost chairs and the dance floor. Poppysea Floristry continued the floral design throughout the celebration, tying each space together with an effortless, natural feel.
From the ceremony details to the reception tables, every element felt considered without ever feeling overdone.
A Dinner for 175
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Arbor Midtown, where 175 guests gathered for an elegant plated dinner and an evening of celebrating Alyssa & Chris.
Avvino catered the reception, creating a polished dining experience that gave guests the perfect opportunity to settle in, enjoy dinner, and toast to the newlyweds. Beautiful florals by Poppysea Floristry, ghost chairs from Tesoro Rentals, and custom menus and signage from Sincerely Melissa brought the reception tables together, creating a space that felt elevated while still warm and inviting.
The reception design continued with draping from Vintage Glam, adding another layer of softness and dimension to the space.
Let the Celebration Begin
Once dinner wrapped, it was time to celebrate.
Encore Events kept the energy high and the dance floor full throughout the night, while Vintage Glam’s photo booth gave guests another way to make memories. Between the music, packed dance floor, and 175 of their favorite people in one room, the reception quickly became one big celebration of Alyssa & Chris.
It was the kind of party that reminded everyone why weddings are so special, good music, great food, and all of your favorite people together in one room.
Capturing Every Moment
From the quiet anticipation of the first look to the last dance of the night, Alyssa & Chris had an incredible team documenting every part of their celebration.
Reilley Photography captured their ceremony and portraits, with Tricia Rose Photography and Cecilia Denise Photo Co. documenting the reception. Olive & Rye Creative captured the day on film, ensuring all of the little moments, big emotions, and everything in between could be relived for years to come.
Behind the scenes, Buffalo Boho Bridal Hair created Alyssa’s bridal hair, while Makeup by Shannon and Artistry by Alexa brought her bridal beauty look together.
A Day to Remember
At the end of the day, Alyssa & Chris’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the best celebrations are the ones that feel true to the couple at the center of them.
From a meaningful first look at the George Eastman Museum, to saying “I do” at The Arbor Loft, to gathering loved ones for a beautiful dinner and dancing the night away at Arbor Midtown, every part of the day played a special role in their story.
We’re so grateful to have been part of such a beautiful celebration and to have welcomed Alyssa & Chris and their loved ones into the Arbor family. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and celebrations just like this one.🤍
