Emma & Dan’s Summer Wedding at Arbor at the Port | August 23rd, 2025

There’s something especially magical about late summer weddings on the water - and Emma & Dan’s wedding day at Arbor at the Port was the perfect reminder of why we love this season so much. With warm August weather, lake views, and so many thoughtful personal touches woven throughout the day, their celebration felt effortlessly elegant while still being incredibly meaningful and fun.

One of the most special parts of the day started before guests even arrived. Since Dan’s parents live right on the lake near the venue, the guys were able to spend the morning getting ready there together. It created such a relaxed and sentimental start to the day, with the water serving as the perfect backdrop for quiet moments before the celebration officially began. Having the wedding so close to a place already meaningful to their family made the entire day feel even more personal.

Emma looked absolutely stunning thanks to hair styling by Dom Does My Hair and Jennifer Lynch, with makeup by Gia DeMauro perfectly complementing the soft, romantic summer aesthetic of the day.

The couple chose our Agathi & Co package, with our very own Carly serving as their Host of Honor throughout the celebration. Having a dedicated point person to help guide the day allowed Emma & Dan to fully soak in every moment together while ensuring everything behind the scenes flowed seamlessly.

Their ceremony overlooking the water featured beautiful live music from The Angelicus String Quartet, creating an elegant and emotional atmosphere as guests gathered to celebrate the couple. The floral design by Moonrise brought in soft seasonal textures and romantic blooms that perfectly enhanced the waterfront setting.

Guests enjoyed an incredible dinner catered by The Swan Family of Restaurants before heading into a dessert spread that truly had something for everyone. Emma & Dan curated desserts from Torta, Cheesy Eddie's, Yeah Baby Bakes, and The Little Brownie - a fun and unique way to share some of their favorite local treats with guests.

As the sun set over the lake, the reception turned into an unforgettable party. Something Else Band kept the dance floor packed all night long, while rentals and the dance floor setup from McCarthy Tents & Events transformed the space into the ultimate summer celebration. Guests also loved stopping by Roc The Booth throughout the night to capture memories from the celebration.

Every moment of the day was beautifully documented by Ali Reed, who perfectly captured both the emotion and energy of the wedding - from the quiet lakeside moments in the morning to the packed dance floor at the end of the night.

Emma & Dan’s wedding was the kind of celebration that perfectly captures what summer weddings at Arbor at the Port are all about: meaningful locations, incredible vendors, unforgettable parties, and getting to celebrate surrounded by the people you love most. ✨
