A Classic Spring Wedding at The George Eastman Museum & Arbor Midtown: Colby + Parker
After years of friendship, a cross-country chapter, and a love story that began back in eighth grade, Colby and Parker returned home to Rochester to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by the people who have been part of their journey from the very beginning.
On May 23, 2026, the couple exchanged vows during a beautiful spring ceremony at the iconic George Eastman Museum. Though they now call Philadelphia home, both Colby and Parker have deep roots in Rochester - and their story began right here, when they first met at their eighth grade dance. Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of their history, bringing together their past, present, and future in one unforgettable celebration.
The historic elegance of the George Eastman Museum provided the perfect setting for their ceremony, blending timeless architecture and romantic garden surroundings. Following their vows, guests continued the celebration at Arbor Midtown, where the couple created a classic and inviting reception experience filled with thoughtful details.
The reception design embraced a timeless aesthetic with lush greenery, natural textures, and an elegant classic feel. Floral arrangements by Pistil & Pollen brought the vision to life with beautiful green and organic-inspired details that complemented the warm atmosphere of Arbor Midtown.
Guests enjoyed a delicious menu and desserts from Fare while celebrating the newlyweds throughout the evening. Adding to the classic ambiance, the Bill Tiberio Band brought live jazz throughout the celebration, creating an unforgettable soundtrack for cocktail hour and the evening’s festivities.
A special touch of the day was captured by live painter Peter Fowler, who created a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork preserving the beauty and emotion of Colby and Parker’s wedding day — a keepsake they will cherish for years to come.
Every moment was beautifully documented by Tess Schilke and Night Fox Films, capturing everything from quiet, sentimental moments to the energy of the celebration.
Colby’s bridal look came together with hair styling by Ape & Canary and makeup by her cousin, adding another meaningful personal element to the morning. With music and entertainment provided by Encore Events, the evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
Colby and Parker’s wedding was a celebration of where they came from, the life they have built together, and the people who have supported them along the way. From a middle school dance in Rochester to a beautiful wedding day back home, their story came full circle in the most meaningful way.
We were honored to be part of their celebration at Arbor Midtown and celebrate the beginning of their forever.
